The battery-powered length measuring system is designed for mobile mounting on the Profi Drill vertical glass drilling machine.
The length measuring system consists of a magnetic sensor , which is permanently connected to a display unit via a cable suitable for drag chains. Therefore, no wiring or connections are required during installation.
In order to be able to measure, a magnetic tape is stuck along the distance to be measured, which provides the sensor with the necessary electrical information (current position). With its protection class, the sensor head is resistant to any kind of dust, dirt and water jets and is absolutely wear-free.
The display unit has extensive programming options (including pulse multiplier, decimal places, counting direction, incremental measurement and set function, adjustable reference value and a switchover for mm or inch operation).
Thanks to their economical LCD display, both versions can operate continuously for up to 1 year* (*depending on battery quality).
The battery compartment is integrated on the back of the display unit. If the battery (standard 1.5 V baby cell) is then replaced, all data and parameters are retained apart from the current actual value.
