The GlassBuddy® from Bohle is the all-rounder for the precise analysis of flat glass. The handy device quickly and reliably provides numerous pieces of information about the glass structure that used to require time-consuming measurements and calculations.

Versatile. Precise. Fast.

Analyse almost any type of glass from single, laminated or multiple laminated glass, double or even triple insulating glass, even when installed. In a matter of seconds, the laser technology provides information on glass thickness, pane structure, coatings, interlayers and their position. In just one measuring process and with an accuracy of 0.1 millimetres.

Easy to use

Despite its extensive functions, GlassBuddy® only needs a few buttons. The user guidance is intuitive and therefore quick to learn. After selecting the correct mode, the switched-on GlassBuddy® is simply positioned on the glass pane. Pressing the start button starts the measurement process. After a few seconds, the results of the measurement are shown on the display, which is also displayed as a graph for convenient checking. Up to 250 measurement results can be conveniently stored in the internal memory of the GlassBuddy®. Comparative measurements are also possible: an average value is then calculated from several measurements and displayed as the measurement result. This function is particularly helpful for large insulating glass panes where the measurement results differ at four corner points.

The GlassBuddy® is supplied with computer software that enables the management of the measurement results with a PC or laptop via the USB cable supplied. With the software, which is suitable for Microsoft Windows operating systems, all measurement data can be conveniently managed, among other things. Tabular display provided with date and time of the measurement as well as the total thickness of the glass structure.
