In 2023 we celebrated a special event – our 100th anniversary. Without our customers, we would not have been able to achieve this and for that we would like to say thank you. We are looking forward to the next 100! Read on to discover our story.
How it all began
On 10 December 1923, Josef Bohle founded his first workshop selling cutting wheels. Over the years, this one-man business became the leading manufacturer and supplier of products for the glass industry. We have invented many of the things that shape the glass industry today or have taken them to a new level. From the Silberschnitt® glass cutting brand to the vacuum technology of Veribor® suction lifters, to innovative glass fitting solutions such as VetroMount® and Juna®, these have all been developed by Bohle. How did this come about?
