Glass drill bit Keilbit ø 5 mm

Product number: BO5002005

Description

Modern cordless screwdrivers are extremely powerful and can certainly also be used for drilling. The KEILBIT drill bit (¼" bit drive DIN 3126 - E 6.3) for glass and ceramic applications was specially developed for fast, direct use in these machines.

A machine change is no longer necessary. The specially ground cutting edges enable a feed that is gentle on the material. The service life of the drill can be considerably extended by regrinding. During the drilling process, ensure sufficient cooling (with water, turpentine, vinegar or petroleum) and a low speed. The drill consists of a specially ground carbide plate with a grey surface. The sharpened cross-cutting edge enables precise spot drilling.

Range of application: - In machines for mechanical machining with ¼" tool holder

Application note:
For hard materials, regrind more often. Can only be used for drilling into materials with a scratch hardness of up to 8.
