FAQ: How long is the course?

Each training course is one day, 9.30 am – 4.00 pm. Participants will take part in the construction of bonded items using a wide range of specialist tools, bonding materials, pre-treatments and adhesives.

Introduction to UV Bonding (Level 1) 1 x Day Courses typically run the last Wednesday of the Month. Refresher (R1) 1 x Day Courses typically run once a quarter. FAQ: I already UV bond—is it worth my time to attend a course?

Yes.  You will learn about and use the very latest and innovative technologies available to bonders, as well as meet other bonders and share good practice.  You will also receive a certificate for successfully completing the course that can count toward your CPD.  Attending a Refresher (R1) course also gives you access to any Advanced UV Bonding Seminars due to run.


FAQ: Can the course count toward my NVQ in Glass Processing?

Yes. The Level 1 course is designed to meet the outcomes required for credits toward the UV Bonding unit in the current Level 2 and Level 3 Glass Processing NVQ.  Please talk to your assessor/training provider about how to best evidence and demonstrate this in your portfolio. 


FAQ: Can Bohle come to my workplace?

Yes. Whilst the certificated courses only run from Bohle’s Cheshire-based Showroom & Training Suite, if you require a site visit to consider adding UV bonding services to your company’s portfolio, or if you wish review existing practices or receive demonstrations of new technology, please contact Bohle’s Business Development Team to discuss further and a visit from a Technical Sales Representative can be arranged.
