The Scratch Away® SAW195 is a system for the renovation of weathered facades. Restore window frames and entrances, advertising signs and garage doors to a like-new condition.

The most common surface deterioration is caused by UV radiation from the sun. Worn industrial coatings such as powder coatings and PVC/plastic window frames and doors look dull and weathered after years of exposure. Scratch Away® SAW195 corrects and restores these surfaces in a clean and controlled manner. As a result, these surfaces regain their original lustre and texture and ensure that the surface remains intact for many years to come. The SAW195 system is also ideal for repairing HPL, acrylic and Plexiglas®, epoxy, gelcoat, two-component polyurethane-based paints, etc. If your coated aluminium or PVC windows and doors look dull and weathered, use the SAW195 Scratch Away® system to restore the original shine and surface texture after years of neglect. Everything will look like new again with ease and in no time at all. Working with the SAW195 system is simple and requires minimal effort. The system comprises 2 stages. In the first step, approximately +/-0.005 mm of the oxidised top layer is removed. In powder coating, -0.1 mm is the usual layer thickness, so this first step can be repeated many times. This oxidised top layer has developed over the years due to the influence of UV light, air and acids and should be removed with the blue polishing disc and blue polishing paste (Restart). In the second step, we correct and protect the clean surface from the same external influences with the yellow polishing disc and pink paste (Recharge). All this is up to 5 times faster than sanding and painting. The result is a durable restoration with the best finish and the lowest maintenance costs.
