The Alva self-closing patch fitting allows for quick installation without the need for an elaborate floor recess. The entire hydraulic system for the self-closing function is housed in the slim fitting itself. By means of a base plate, the fitting is fastened to the substrate with only two screws.

With outstanding functions such as the convenient installation options and the clear design, the Alva patch fitting is one of the best in its class The fitting with closing force EN 5 has the same dimensions of 184 x 70 mm as the patch fitting EN 3 and therefore ensures a uniform appearance for doors of different sizes in a room. It is particularly suitable for wide and heavy doors. To ensure that drilling into the substrate can be carried out comfortably, the distance between the wall and the first hole in the mounting plate is 29 mm, thus providing sufficient space for the drilling machine. The closing speed and latching action are infinitely adjustable. The design of the fitting is particularly clear and reduced to the essentials. Thanks to the innovative plug-in fastening, there are no visible screws or fastening points on the cover caps of the patch fitting and the base plate. Black inserts that create the impression of a shadow gap underline the high-quality look. Alva has been tested in accordance with DIN EN 1154 with 500,000 closing cycles to European standards for long service life and outstanding functionality.

We cannot recommend use with laminated safety glass. Due to the low thickness of the individual panes and the point load in the area of the glass cut-out when tightening the screws, the glass may break.
