Glass point fixings
Point fixings for glass, also called glass holders, create frameless glazing that is often used for facades, railings or roofs. The small all-rounders are versatile, and elegantly set the scene for glass while visually receding into the background themselves. Point fixings from Bohle follow a stable design according to DIN EN 1991-1-1, and are precisely processed.

The structure of glass point fixings

Point fixings for stair railings
Point fixings are suitable for side mounting glass panels. This makes them a popular solution for stair railings, as well as for combinations of stair and gallery glazing. The design of point fixings creates a decisive benefit during installation: The distance between the glass panel and the stair tread is easily variable and can be adapted to the conditions.

Point fixings for glass railings
Point fixings become a special eye-catcher when they are used as railings or guardrails. Regardless of whether they are used indoors or outdoors. Compared to linear railing profiles, point fixings have a visual advantage because they are small and discreet.

It depends on the thickness of the glass
Stainless steel glass point fixings carry both ESG and VSG between 10 and 21.52 mm thick. The right choice of clamping inserts for the desired glass thickness is crucial. They are usually made of high-quality PVC. For the glass thicknesses 17.52 mm and 21.52 mm, a general test certificate from the building authorities (AbP) is also available. This means that spans of up to 2500 mm are possible with a glass height of 1300 mm.
