Aluminium oxide abrasive belt VSM KK711Y

Description

This soft, waterproof belt has very tough, synthetic abrasives of great strength (corundum). It produces a relatively clear, roller-like grind (the glass edge retains its "green colour"). The belt can be used in wet grinding

In many cases, there is no need for additional polishing (grit 180). If you have high quality requirements, you should use a fine aluminium oxide belt (grit 400) as a preliminary step to polishing with a cork polishing belt for a brilliant polish. Pre-grinding is done with any belts of suitable grit.
