The integrated adjustable opening damping (Back Check), which safely and gently absorbs the swing in the event of gusts of wind or violent door opening, is particularly recommended for adjacent walls. To ensure that drilling into the substrate can be carried out comfortably, the distance between the wall and the first hole in the mounting plate is 29 mm, thus providing sufficient space for the drilling machine. The closing speed and the end stop are infinitely adjustable. The design of the fitting is particularly clear and reduced to the essentials. Thanks to the innovative plug-in fastening, there are no visible screws or fastening points on the cover caps of the corner fitting and the base plate. Black inserts that create the impression of a shadow gap underline the high-quality look. Alva has been tested for long life and excellent functionality in accordance with DIN EN 1154 and European standards. The self-closing corner fitting with closing force EN 3 is suitable for the majority of standard glass doors.

Application note:
We cannot recommend use with laminated safety glass. Due to the low thickness of the individual panes and the point load in the area of the glass cut-out when tightening the screws, the glass may break.
