Soudal Primer 150 improves the adhesion of silicones and MS polymers on porous substrates. It is mainly used for the assembly of mirrors with Xtragrip® mirror adhesive and Xtragrip® MS polymer. Its use is also recommended in cases of increased humidity.
Improves the adhesive capacity of Xtragrip® mirror adhesive on porous surfaces (also suitable for use with other silicone adhesives or MS polymers). Xtraprime is also recommended to prime surfaces subject to humidity. Xtraprime is thin and transparent. Instructions for use: Processing temperature +5 °C to +25 °C. The bonding surface must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease. Generously apply Xtraprime undiluted with a brush. Allow Xtraprime to dry thoroughly (approx. 60 min. at +20 °C / 65 % relative humidity) before applying adhesive. To ensure that the substrate is completely covered, a second coating of Xtraprime can be applied. After Xtraprime has been applied, protect the surface against moisture and dirt. Covers approx. 5 m²/litre, depending on the condition of the substrate.
