The CS 321 abrasive belt uses an X-cotton fabric as a backing material. This fabric also proves to be impressively tear-resistant in damp and wet environments. Consequently, it is suitable for dry sanding and wet sanding.
The tear-resistant cotton backing of this abrasive belt allows it to be used for heavy-duty and high-speed work. The abrasive silicon carbide is fixed to the backing material by a layer of solid synthetic resin.
