The optimum glass cutter also needs an optimum cutting head. The top models of the Silberschnitt® Oil Glass Cutter System 2000 have a round cutting head, which is equipped with a 2-fold ball-bearing wheel holder that can be freely rotated by approx. 40°. By unscrewing the screw, the wheel holder can be freely rotated by 360°. This makes the glass cutter suitable for cutting on the template as well as on the ruler. Guide inaccuracies in manual glass cutting are tolerated and compensated for by this glass cutter. The wheel holders are interchangeable. This allows you to cut different glass thicknesses. In addition, the application or oil flow of cutting fluid can be varied with the shut-off screw on the cutting head, so that both dry cuts and thick glass cuts are possible.
