Double top track/side channel can be used either to guide the top of sliding glass doors or for the sliding door to locate into at the side of the opening. Supplied drilled and countersunk for fixing. Available in 2 or 4 metre stock lengths. Available in polished aluminium.
Suitable for 6 mm glass up to 1.5 m high. Glass panels slide on nylon rollers which are incorporated in the bottom track while the top of the glass is supported in the top track. The usual overlap allowed between two glass doors is 26 mm. For glass sizes deduct 22 mm from the height of the opening. For side channels or draught excluders deduct 38 mm from the height of the opening.
Application note:
For safety reasons we recommend all glass should have polished edges. Please check with your glass merchant to ensure that the specification of the glass is suitable for the particular installation.
The maximum recommended height to width ratio per door is 1.5:1
