Modern technology with high safety: The proven and particularly robust Flex technology has been adapted to the material-specific requirements by Bohle's know-how in the field of glass processing technology.
The specially developed diamond saw blade for laminated glass ø 150 / 22.2 mm (BO 5301611) makes it possible both to cut through PVB laminating foils without any problems and to achieve a consistently good cutting quality without the otherwise usual larger glass outcrops. The required saw cut allowance on the cutting dimension can therefore be relatively low. The optimum working speed for glass applications in combination with the effective cooling water injection ensure constant thermal conditions without negative effects on the stress behaviour of the glass edges. The basic equipment already includes a wide range of accessories: The important point of work safety is particularly taken into account by essential detailed solutions such as PRCD personal protection switches or also the light metal protective cover and guide plate. The Flex diamond laminated glass saw is suitable for straight cuts in laminated glass or glass plates up to 40 mm. The parallel stopper is inserted into the side guides and locked in place by the two T-screws, as required. The enclosed stainless steel sliding plate with felt to prevent scratches on the glass surface is placed on the saw base plate to match the side recesses and clamped in place. Both in terms of performance and cutting quality, this machine offers processing possibilities that were previously only achievable with expensive industrial saws. The innovative parallel guidance by means of guide rails, connectors and suction holders, which are optionally available as accessories, enables particularly precise cuts with almost any glass length. Safety glass, cast resin glass, but also fire protection glass are increasingly being used in a wide variety of areas. While glass with several layers can only be sawn afterwards, VSG can also be cut and broken. But here, too, sawing has the advantage that the proportion of rejects due to strong lenses can be significantly reduced during breaking.
