New areas of application for VetroMount®: the glass railing series continues to grow.
12.06.2024In June 2024, Bohle not only launches the new VetroMount® GROUND PROFILE U Heavy Duty with 2 kN tie-bar load. For all those who rely on solar energy, the standard railing profiles can soon also be easily fitted with photovoltaic glass.
VetroMount® floor profile U Heavy Duty for 2 kN beam load: safety for public areas
The VetroMount® floor profile U Heavy Duty has been specially developed for the increased requirements in public areas, assembly centres and coastal regions. With a 95 mm wide floor profile U and special glass bearings, the power pack fixes glass panes from 21.52 to 25.52 mm thick at a maximum height of 1.30 metres. The double upright load of 2 kN is particularly impressive, guaranteeing safe use even with high horizontal loads. The best thing is that it can still be assembled in a very short time. The reason for this is the floor fixing using concrete screws and the tried and tested VetroMount® glass bearings. Thanks to the ingenious glass clamping system, the glass panes are installed from the fall-protection side, are infinitely adjustable and can be quickly removed again in the event of glass breakage. VetroMount® Heavy Duty is therefore ideal for locations such as shopping centres, auditoriums, railway stations and stadiums that are temporarily exposed to high loads.
VetroMount® with photovoltaic glass: sustainability meets design
No more house and flat construction without renewable energies. Where glass panes serve as railings, the use of photovoltaics is also possible. The special feature of VetroMount® with photovoltaic glass is its unobtrusive design in terms of cabling and junction boxes. Where conspicuous handrails were previously required, which also had to be connected to the building due to the cables, Bohle's basic profile offers an optimum cabling option: perfectly concealed, yet accessible at all times and can be realised with discreet edge protection. All that is needed is a small spacer block in the profile. With a glass height of 1.30 m, nothing stands in the way of energy generation. Safety is guaranteed by the general building inspectorate test certificate (AbP) available from summer 2024.
