The optional brake cylinder is a double-acting hydraulic damper. It supports the operators when swivelling the payload by damping the swivelling movement both from the vertical to the horizontal and from the horizontal to the vertical.
The brake cylinder is accommodated in the crane arm of the Liftmaster Quadro lifting system to save space. The damper is pre-set and if required, would be mounted on the lifting unit during production.
